PhoneLink

PhoneLink

Saltbox launches PhoneLink which will provide a free, city-wide, telephone-out befriending and support service for the elderly, socially isolated and vulnerable people within our communities - 7 days a week/365 days a year.

What is PhoneLink?

It is.......

· A befriending service, which will seek to build and maintain the confidence and well-being of older, vulnerable and less able people.

· A support service, encouraging and supporting independence at home and promoting engagement in other community activities.

· An informal monitoring service, that monitors the
well-being of the PhonePal, being aware of significant changes in health and well-being and taking appropriate action.

· A signposting service, to provide the option of information about other agencies and service providers.

· A low-level advocacy service, making connections with other providers to help solve unresolved issues raised by the PhonePal.

· Faith linkage, offering the opportunity to connect with a local faith community for pastoral and/or spiritual support.

‘GLIMPSES OF HEAVEN’
IGNITE ONE DAY LOCAL CONFERENCE
Friday 20 June
Special guests include Miguel Escobar from Chile, Scott McDermott & Perry Dalton from USA.
Miguel, Scott & Perry have spoken at local & national Ignite events before and are used by God in both teaching God’s word and ministering in the power of the Spirit. This will be a great opportunity to be refreshed in faith and equipped for mission.

Sessions: 10.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 7.30pm.
Cost: £15 per person, includes light lunch.

VENUE: Tunstall Methodist Church, Queens Ave, Tunstall. ST6 6EE (large car park to rear)
From Rev William Porter (Beacon House of Prayer & Ignite Revival Network)
"We are very excited about these conferences in the season of Holy Spirit activity right now. There is an amazing outpouring in Florida that you may well know about. Karen & I have just returned from the healing revival meetings there and are amazed at what God is doing. Thousands are coming to catch fresh fire and take it home to impact their communities. It seems that God is raising the spiritual temperature in the nations and asking the church to step out in faith for more kingdom breakthrough. We are expectant that these Ignite conferences will carry the same fire of the Spirit. Come and share in them and bring a friend!"
