Our next 2C7 city-wide united prayer gathering takes place on
Weds 27 February, 7.30pm
venue Bethel Christian Centre, Abbey Hulton.

On this occasion we will be joined by special guest worship leader, Godfrey Birtill.

For those of you who have previously experienced his unique & outstanding worship leading ministry then Godfrey will require no introduction.

For those who haven't, then you are encouraged to come & share in some powerful & prophetic contemporary Christian worship.

PS...folk are encouraged to arrive early as last time Godfrey was with us we struggled fitting all 400 people in!

UCB Prayerline receives several hundred prayer requests each week via a variety of communication modes. UCB is in need of volunteers who will receive prayer requests from the following:
e-mail
text messages
letters
messages left on the answerphone.
Do you have a prayer ministry; has God given you the gift of praying for others; could you spare a few hours each week? If your response is positive enthusiasm then UCB Prayerline may be the organisation for you.

Staffordshire Children’s Trust Manager
Salary: PO E/F £36,657 - £40,101


Staffordshire Children’s Trust is committed to ensuring that all children and young people in the County are supported to achieve the five outcomes identified in Every Child Matters through integrated services and processes involving a wide range of partners. Established in April 2005, the Trust is seeking a well organised and highly motivated individual to lead the next stages in its development.

You will be experienced in multi-agency partnership working and have a broad understanding of the public and voluntary organisations delivering children’s services. You will act as the programme and planning manager for the Trust and will be expected to provide a high level of advice and professional support. As well as having project management skills, you will be able to influence, persuade and challenge whilst maintaining effective relationships across the partners. You will ensure that Board decisions are implemented and disseminated and you will monitor and maintain the mechanisms by which the Trust achieves its strategic vision.

The postholder is employed by Staffordshire County Council on behalf of the Children’s Trust and will be based in Stafford.

Youth Volunteer Development Manager
37 hours – NJC SCP 30 £24,545pa plus 3% pension
1. To establish and lead the vinvolved team to achieve a step change in youth volunteering in Staffordshire
2. To work in partnership with other agencies to maximise the developmentof new opportunities for young volunteers and to support placementproviders to adopt best practice in volunteer recruitment and retention
3.To support with SCVYS partners a County Youth Action Team to bringyoung people’s energy and influence to the vinvolved team
4. To be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the programme, ensuringachievement of targets, milestones and outcomes.

Youth Volunteer Advisor
37 hours – NJC SCP 24 £20,099pa plus 3% pension
1. To strengthen the Volunteer centres outreach to young people underrepresented in volunteer and assist organisations to develop new inspiringvolunteer opportunities for young people
2. To deliver high quality advice and guidance for young people involunteering across a designated area of Staffordshire and help placethem into a volunteering opportunity.
3. To champion youth-led volunteering through the creation of local YouthAction Teams to provide a range of volunteering activities.
