Happy Easter...."Christ is risen, He is risen indeed!"

Since 2005, we have had four separate months of unbroken prayer across North Staffs. Now, we have a 40 day period to unite in prayer and pray for a greater release of God’s presence and power. Please consider how you might engage with this opportunity - the full rota is now on the Saltbox's web site. As well as supporting your own congregation (if it is involved) why not look to visit another church and bless them with your support and prayers. You will also see some other extra prayer opportunities including:

The Beacon House of Prayer is providing several prayer meeting opportunities each week.
Cross Rhythms City Radio are providing special two different prayer programmes - "Breakthrough Nights" and "Britain Prays" take place on several occasions.

We are invited to join a Saturday morning prayer walk around Bentilee on Sat 26 April.
St. Mary’s Bucknall is the venue for a praise and renewal event called "Breathe" taking place on Sat 10 May, the final night of the 40 days.

As well as encouraging prayer for local and national needs, we are also encouraging Christians to specifically pray for London. Christians in our capital have asked for prayer support from other English towns and cities and, encouraging, the Body of Christ around the Potteries will be the one of the first locations to take up this challenge. Our Pentecost Prayer Rota concludes the day before the Global Day of Prayer event in London – please pray for God’s blessing on Rev Jonathan Oloyede and his team who are leading this strategic event.

There is a growing sense that the since the beginning of the 2C7 prayer network in 2001 a prayer foundation has been laid and that we are now beginning to see the ‘green shoots’ of a New Day of God-given favour, opportunity and growth.

Finally, let me encourage you in your reading of the Bible to be open to God highlighting to you His GLORY….Jesus said "If you believe you will see the glory of God".
